Surah Al-Humazah ( The Slanderer ) - Aya count 9

وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ ﴿١﴾

Woe to every Humazah Lumazah.

ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ﴿٢﴾

Who has gathered wealth and counted it.

يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ﴿٣﴾

He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever!

كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ ﴿٤﴾

But no! Verily, he will be thrown into Al-Hutamah.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ ﴿٥﴾

And what will make you know what Al-Hutamah is

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ﴿٦﴾

The fire of Allah, Al-Muqadah,

ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ ﴿٧﴾

Which leaps up over the hearts.

إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ ﴿٨﴾

Verily, it shall Mu'sadah upon them,

فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ ﴿٩﴾

In pillars stretched forth.
